Nested in the Samarian Mountains, between the majestic Sierra and endless Caribbean sea, rises a 28 story building: Kunawa, a place to connect. Characterised by being the tallest building in the bay, Kunawa, meaning the heavens above in Ikun the language of the native Ahruacans, promises to be a place to connect with its environment, the feelings its evokes and the illusion of a long lasting legacy.
PepperSpace was approached by CLV and Pacheco Estudio de Arquitectura to ideate the name, narrative, concept and brand strategy that would position the project in a disruptive and unique manner. By understanding the territory the project inhabits and how it permeates in the structure of the building, PepperSpace identified connection as the main storytelling pillar, which was later reflected in the design decisions and brand touchpoints.
